Thriftway Markets on East Jackson Street has been a part of the Scott County community since 1966. We've especially enjoyed providing our customers with the value and service that always bring them back.

Over the years, we've developed many long lasting friendships with our customers and we've done so with a one to one relationship. Our customers are not a serial number on a card, but neighbors who deserve the very best their money can buy at a price that keeps them coming back.

Thriftway Markets has been proud to be a part of Gate City's history since 1966. Opened first as Town & Country by S.E. Lowe, the store became Thriftway in 1966 when founder and CEO B.W. Frazier acquired the store. Thriftway was incorporated by Frazier & Sons, Inc. in 1991.

Today Thriftway is still serving Scott County with the same commitment to quality and dedication. Actively involved in may community events, Thriftway Markets believes in Gate City's future. Our hometown is a special place and we like to support it. Besides working with area schools, Thriftway also participates in many fund-raisers and we also sponsor area golf tournaments and sports programs!
